How is the SA Government involved?
The South Australian Government is committed to the NDIS.
The South Australian Government has a proud history of supporting people with disability.
South Australia was one of the first states to sign up to the NDIS and, at full rollout, the South Australian Government will be investing $723 million into the scheme.
We’re putting people with disability at the centre of decision-making while, at the same time, bringing economic benefits through the creation of up to 6,000 new jobs in non-government organisations.
While the Commonwealth Government is responsible for the rollout of the NDIS through the National Disability Insurance Agency, the South Australian Government remains committed to supporting and advocating for our citizens.
